I have a big headache after talking to rh; which meant me? Should I tell the Manager that mistakes happen and not take offense to my sup's email about me???
my question is should i also bring this email up at my meeting tommorrow?

If you still have a copy of that e-mail, print it and bring it to the meeting. If they don't fire you, then let it be left unsaid. If you're fired, you'll be prepared to go down with guns blazing.

If you like the job ask for forgiveness and tell them you have learned from this mistake. Keep a copy of all e-mails but don't bring it up unless you are treated unfairly. In the future don't write e-mails that you would not share with everyone in the company because that is what will eventually happen.

This is a tricky one. One thing you will learn in your career is to keep aces up your sleeve for when you really need them. You need to take your lumps sometimes in order to gain favor with people for use later on in your job. (for when you really mess up) Tomorrow you may or may not need an ace so maybe print out that suspect e-mail and keep it in your pocket.

Go talk with that supervisor before the meeting and say something like "Mistakes happen to everyone. Remember when you asked about morphine related to me?" This may or may not work so be very careful use your own judgment.

Unless you really messed up in that e-mail you should be fine. It may be a department/company wide meeting to talk about e-mail policies. Or, it may be just all about your mistake. If you think it's all about you, try talking with your manager first and maybe pull out your ace.

Otherwise, take your lumps, keep your ace in your pocket and use it when you really need it later.

Good luck!

yes, bring it up and point it out - that mistakes happen and even to supervisors. Act like you are offended by the supervisor's email and that you didn't think, that it was very professional of your supervisor to share derogatory comments about you with others especially via emails. Voice how disappointed you are in the supervisor's lack of professionalism. That should get you off the hook. Good luck.

Unfortunately, most employers now have a formal policy concerning the use of their computers for personal use, and as to content of emails and use???

Just be honest and hope that you don't get into trouble?

I will pray for you tonight and hope that you do NOT get into any problems.

GOOD LUCK! :-)
