Hank's personal life was miserable. I believe he had a morbid personality. He escaped all of that real life in his music. When he hit the stage he was a different person. Unfortunately he became so addicted that he would literally "Hit the stage". With the legacy he left us in 29 short years, imagine, just imagine what it would and could have been. Nobody else has come close to doing it Hank's way. God bless him wherever he is.

Hank died in the backseat of a car and had a driver at the time of his death. It wasn't a suicide in the true sense. Hank drank himself to death and probably suffered from major depression.

i don;t think he did it the way it is done today. He was country to the core and I do not think he would be teeny bop pop/country or nashvegas either
