Yes there is a device, its called a KVM switch, where you can use one monitor one keyboard and one mouse for two computers, I think the smallest KVM switch has 4ports, so you can actually use 4 computers on 1 monitor mouse and keyboard

Does your monitor have dual inputs? If so, then connect one system to one input and the other system to the other input. There should be one of the control buttons that switches between the inputs.

If one of the inputs is DVI and neither system has DVI-D out, check if the input has DVI-A support. Look at the connector socket. On one side there is a long slot If it has four contacts around it then it supports an analog signal. Either get a DVI to VGA cable, or use a VGA to VGA cable and VGA to DVI adapter.

KVM switch is what you need. They run anywhere from $12-$50. I use one at work with 2 machines. (Easy to set up to) To switch, you simply press the "Scroll lock" button twice & then the down key, or up key to change screens, just like that.
They save time!!!

IT's called a KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch. They are not that expensive. You can go to a local computer store to see if they have it or go online and buy it.
