I'm running AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5 and they show 3 infected objects. So why are the threats shown are only two?

Usually when 3 infected objects are shown and only two threats are shown, this means that 2 objects are infected and the third is a trace code attached to either one or both of the infected objects shown.

Run a second scan and then reboot. You should be fine.

More than likely one of the 2 objects have 2 infections. Also possible that 3rd object was automatically deleted by avg.
