I missed my 5th and my 10th....right out of college for #5 and too cool...and out of state for #10....been to all since - 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and last summer #40....and having more fun in each....as someone else observed, people get less and less cliquish each time...you talk with / dance with / eat with folks you wouldn't 'be caught dead with' in high school.....the 'cool' guys are there now hanging with the class clowns and the 'greasers' who were 'nothing but trouble' in HS. We miss those who have died...VietNam, motorcycles, cancer, cars....and enjoy those who have not....we also miss those who are too cool, too uncaring or unknowing to attend....

go...enjoy...you will miss something if you don't...

We didn't have a 25-year reunion, but I've been to the others. They have come at 10, 15, 20 and 30 for me (so far). Plus, we had a group 50th birthday party a few years ago.

The reunions are always a good time, even when they aren't staged well. (We had a clunker in that sense.) It's great fun to see people from that time in your life. What's more, the barriers between people come down, as the social cliques disappear. Plus, e-mail has helped get the word out, so people are a little more in touch than they used to be.

I moved out of one high school after ninth grade, and even went to that school's 30th reunion -- people I hadn't seen in 33 years. It was fascinating, and some even remembered me!

Go.

I've been to my 10 and 20 years, and the 20 year was more fun. There were 2 high schools in my town, and they decided to combine the reunions, which was so much more fun! Many of us went to the local community college after high school, so we all knew each other anyway. Plus everyone's more laid back and not trying to impress each other anymore. It's just about reminiscing, dancing to the old songs and having a good time. And it's a dang good thing there are name tags!

No, and I really don't know why not. I had many friends in high school... loved it. Loved the parties, Homecoming, the Prom... all of it. I was sad when it was over. But for some reason, I've just never been interested in attending the reunions. Maybe ten minutes on a shrink's couch could give me some answers.

I went to the 40 and it was a hoot. I have a very deep voice and have had since 14, I knew if I didn't talk no one would know who I was so my widowed friend and I walked around for a couple hours and listened then I went back to our area of the reunion and spoke to one of my best friends in high school and the stuff hit the fan. It was fun and I did not know who anyone was--many I had not seen for years we all laughed, drank beer and took pics and ate masses of all sorts of great food. Had to laugh my old friend said his wife (I met her when I was a year old) was as little as she was in high school but with wrinkles. All the girls had dyed hair, I didn't--got flack for it. My kids don't go to theirs but I guess they dont keep friends like we old ones do. I still keep in close contact with guys and girls I have known since I was 4 or less and now we are all seniors.

I have been to every one our class has had, worked on all of them...2-5-7-10=15-20-25-30-35-up to 55 and looking forward to everyone we ever have. Found that after the 15th it really didn't matter who you were, everyone was friendly to everyone else. Before that the classmates seemed to hang with the ones that they did in school.( which doesn't surprise me, that is who they came to see)

Our class had around 300 graduates, so everyone knew everyone else ( or almost),,

Go and enjoy...

I went with my terrific pal to her reunion. It replaced into around the line from the marriage and he or she have been given to declare hi to her ex in her wedding ceremony dress (the face replaced into valuable). She certainly planned her wedding ceremony months before her type planned the reunion. i does not choose my brother at my reunion, yet it is me. exceptionally reason it would be my first one. i'm hoping i don't sense that way at 50 nevertheless. i might completely take my youthful sisters to my first reunion!!! purely no longer my brother or my older sisters...it is notably strange huh>?

I went to my 5th, 10th and 15th. After that I stopped going. I found that some of the people who were cliquish (I wasn't terribly popular either) had matured and were far more inclusive than they'd been in HS. I found others that were supposedly my "good" friends then were back stabbers now. However, even more than that, I've changed so much as compaired to those people, I have literally nothing in common with them anymore, so I've stopped going.

Nope. But if I had a chance, I would never go still. High School is the worst years of my life. I don't want to remember it.
