Can anyone tell me how to download You Tube videos to my computer?

I tried to download using this website (http://vixy.net/). It kind of worked but only downloaded the audio and did not download any of the video. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Also, if anyone can help me download embedded video from (http://videoarticles.playboy.com/index.jsp?s), that help would be much appreciated also. Thank You!

that site vixy.net but you gotta choose avi format, if that doesent work to you, go to this site but you gotta download a flv player on their site..

There are countless ways to download clips from YouTube. I should mention that all video clips on YouTube are Flash clips (i.e .flv file type). Not all media players can play them, which maybe why you only heard the audio and not the video. You need a media player like the free VLC (http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/). Try using vixy.net again and open the file with VLC media player.

Alternatively, you can download and install the free program YouTube Downloader. All you need is to provide the URL (i.e. web address of the video clip) and the program will download the clip. However, it can also convert the .flv file to something like .avi or mpeg, which many more media players (e.g Windows Media Player) can play. U Copy the Link of the Video, then u go to http://www.dlthis.com and u paste the link there and u click download and then click the download link then save it!

next, u have to download super video converter (or if u have a converter already use that) at erightsoft.com

and then there u have it!!!!
