Oh man I bet that is aggravating. I like the name but if people sang that I'd be pretty annoyed too. Not me personally but I have a friend whos name is Leila, like the Beatles. Then there is one named Roxanne, ya know like "roxanne, you don't have to turn on that red light" or whatever.

Hey, to the answerer that is named the same as a popular cooking spray...LOL me too and there is a song with our name by Toto....unless there is another cooking spray with a woman's name.....I like the song but didn't care much for my nickname my friends after high school gave me.. "nonstick" it was a CB handle....

Yeah there is, but I can't tell you the name cos I don't want anyone to know my real name. But it is an old song, I didn't know it existed until my mail lady told me about it and now by BF keeps singing it to me all the time. LOL

my name is melanie so no real songs for that but there was this singer in the 70s named melanie who sang about her roller skates and having a brand new skate key and to this day people comment on that
