I think it's a great name for a girl but I'm not your hubby!
Keep the peace. Compromise! Find something you both like or incorporate the name McKenna with another name of your husbands choice

Just a suggestion...both of you agree or don't name the baby. You don't want to have a disgruntled husband before the baby is even born. Find a compromise.
By the way: I love the name Mckenna...had a neighbor girl in Las Vegas that had that name.

I thought it was a cute name until it became something of a fad. My cousin was deadset on naming her daughter Ashley, until she actually had the baby and 6 out of the 9 moms in the hospital had girls and all were named Ashley. She decided on something that would ensure her daughter didn't go to school with like, 8 other Ashleys. I think it's right up there with other new popular names like Madison and MacKenzie. I would like something more unique and not so common these days. I really like Isabelle after my great-grandmother. There probably won't be more than her in a class with that name.

You have to go with it. It is by far the best name in the world.
And I really like Mackenna or Mckenna.

I'm with your hubby! This is one of my least favorite names. It's ultra trendy, as most "Mc" names are. It's not pleasant sounding to me either. So sorry:( Maybe you can compromise and use Makenna as a middle name? Or maybe you'd both like Michaela/Mikayla? Which is similar.

My daughter has a friend with the same name. She spells it MacKenna. It's a cute name.

this is a name i picked out for my baby girl, too, but my boyfriend didn't like it either. we settled on a different name, but maybe try compromising. let him pick out the middle name. or agree on a first name and use mckenna as a middle name. i love the name!

I like Mckenna - it's really pretty. Another name which you might like on a similar theme is Mckenzie - which is also lovely. :-)
