I am allowed to move out with my gf one month before i am 18 as long i let my parents keep my money so i can pay off my debit to them. Now i know they wont do anything like make me come back because they are going to let me leave. Is there any law that goes against this, if so can i get in any legal trouble if my parents dont say anything?

I don't know your story, but sounds as if you're getting ready to learn a hard lesson. No one can tell you anything to change your mind, I'm sure, but is this the best move you can make?

What sounds good to you now might not be so good when you're 25, or 35. If you've got a job, that's great, but does it have a future where you can grow, or will you still be doing the same thing in the years to come. Think of your future and try to plan accordingly.....good luck to you. I hope you make it.

I know you are not going to like my answer, but why would loving parents just let you move out on your own, I believe there is more to this story than you let on. In a way you are just starting to grow up and should be at home with your parents guidance. I will venture that in the future, 1 year or so, you will be in trouble, drugs or even pregnant

Well, how old is your GF? In some places laws about age and sex can really trip you up. BTW why are your parents keeping your money? If you borrowed from them I can see them wanting to be paid back if that is what you agreed to do, but other than that your money is your own and you will need it to pay for rent and utilities and food.

Your parents are your legal guardians until you turn 18. If both of you are minors, then ??? But one thing I will say is if you mess up it will backfire on your parents, like if you are on their car insurance under 18, and then have a bad accident or such, they get burned !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on the state that you live in as to the age of emancipation.
