Please dont tell me to lose weight. Useful answers only. I recently lost 20 lbs and I am still wearing the same jean size. Anything please. Im sick of buying new jeans...

Clearly caused by friction... my jeans aren't too tight in the thigh area...nail polish sounds good =)

oh and the spandex ones are worse. Im a nanny im connnnstantly moving and chasing and running.

try putting a little bit of clear nail polish on the parts where the fraying has begun and that should help delay it a little bit. But do a test spot first to make sure it dosn't dry weird on your jeans, because it look sdifferent on all fabrics.

Well, that happened to me, and what i do is keep alot of jeans. that way i am not juggling between 4 or 5.

When you wear your jeans alot, they tend to fray in the inner thigh.

sounds to me like they are too tight in the inner thigh area.
Try buying a relaxed pair or the new ones that have spandex mixed with cotton

I hate to tell you this, but it is caused by your thighs rubbing together when you walk. This only happens if you are overweight. You can't prevent this unless you.....lose weight
