I am new to the area and looking for a general doctor - we have Blue Cross/ Blue Shield so most doctors would be in network.

yes his name is dr melean on 7th ave in ybor city . It is located a little above the intersection of 7th ave and 50th st . he is a good dr . all my kids went to him . call his office though he may not be accepting new patients . I used to live in tampa and I always thought it was so crowded . good luck .

Did you try looking in the phone book ?
Blue Cross/Blue Shield should have a list of all kinds of doctors in the Tampa area. You might also check with the hospital on Davis Island.

When I lived in Tampa, my wife saw Dr. Manish Shah. His office is near the corner of Bruce B Downs and SR 56 in north Tampa (behind the new Sam's Club). I am not sure how far that would be for you, but he is young, in tune with the latest tech, and super attentive, much more so than the guy my plan assigned me to!. Give him a call!
