download rate of 512k?

If i have a connection speed of 512k than what is the aprox download and upload speeds?

8kbps = 1 KB/s

So if you have 512kbps, theoritically, you should have maximum download speed of 64 kB/s.

As for upload speed, those are different, depending on your ISP. You may want to ask them for the upload speed of your connection and just divide the number by 8 to get the upload speed in kB/s.

Normally 512 down and 256 up.
