I went through a stage about 12 ish years ago when I got into the clubbing scene in a big way. I hit 23/24 years of age and thought **** what am I doing I am being such an *** hole living through the come down just to get to the next high which each weekend regularly brought me. My sister gave birth to a beautiful little boy and it hit me that if I were to die I would possibly not live to see this baby grow up. So anyhow I stopped going out and kinda grew up. Two years later I had a baby of my own so really glad I stopped all that **** when I did and that beautiful little boy is now ready to go to high school and my nieces, nephews and my own children have given me more pleasure than the drugs ever could. It was fun at the time though and an experience I am glad I had but I am sure I could of lived without lol!

Drugs are a medicinal substance, they are sometimes refered to as a narcotics, hallucinogen, or stimulant, with the effect of addiction. They are seen as bad for you because you are not medically qualified and there for are unable to administer a correct dosage ,SAFELY.
Basically if you are not having a good time anymore, taking the amount that you normally do then it means that you are becoming dependable and you need more to feed your ADDICTION... or to get high.
If you are at this point be responsible for yourself and cut out the 'partying' for a few months...SERIOUSLY.
Work hard through the week and smoke one big fat dubey at the weekend... chill out and give your body a rest... detox is another word for it... at the end of the month buy yourself something nice from all that dosh you've saved.

The trick is not to take any addictive drugs. Yes, all drugs are addictive in the same way shopping can be addictive; I mean don't take the ones that have addictive substances in them and you'll become reliant on. I still smoke marijuana now and then but I gave up on hallucinogens like LSD and magic mushrooms (which I could find readily in the countryside) years ago. Pills scared the hell out of me, and I could always find reference on how to consume the hallucinogens.

i guess i've been lucky. i never tried it and never even had the urge. i had too many other damn things to worry about! i guess drugs are just like any other pain killer that takes away the pain. Like a tylenol for a migrane! EXCEPT THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE! AND ADDICTIVE! they destroy your family, your freiends and YOU! they set you back, and while people recover all the time just think about all the pain and MONEY, you could have saved yourself. people fry their brains trying to find relief. that relief may have been found in a friend, a different job, different surroundings! drugs are definately bad. they stop you from seeing who you can become. they limit your potential, they destroy your self esteem. they suck the beauty out of who you are. all those party people, are all thinking the same thing--i got to do this to look cool! when you are in that club just look around and think to yourself; are these my friends? will any of these people be here for me, if was suddenly homesless, jobless? would they pick me up off the ground and sacrifice for me?? ARE THEY YOUR FRIENDS NOW??? TO HELL WITH THEM. YOU ARE YOUR OWN PERSON, AND YOU LIVE BY YOUR OWN RULES! NOT EVERYONE ELSES. live well!

Yeah.
Started drinking at 9.
Spent from 13 to 18 on Hash, moved on to LSD.
By 25 was injecting speed (or Base as it was known), and smoking crack by 29.
The party ended at 9.
Clean now, but still miss the Base.
Some things we do we regret, other things we grow out of.
Still, just the fags and booze to go eh.
Can I just say, I have been there and would not wish anyone to follow my footsteps.
Party hard, but please be safe.

I have drank a lot more alcohol than I should because I tought it was a laugh.
And yes then realize it was stupid, and with the time, I control more my drinking
The difference is that, a few drinks won´t kill me
But even a small portion of drugs, even if you have done them before, might kill you
I don´t think is funny at all

No I never did that, I was always strong enough to say no. I knew drugs were bad and Never gave in to peer pressure. Simple and to the point, my life is too important to give into that crap.

Twenty years ago I used to drink. I managed to fall off my bicycle one night on a late night beer run and knock all my front teeth out, which wasn't so cool after all. It waked me right up. So for me, drugs were bad news. I am slowly getting back all those years.

"Free spirits aint settin no one's spirit free" - The Rapture
In other words if the party is s**t then dont take to many drugs to make up for it. A good time should involve some heavy dancing not heavy drugs.
