If you were to get hit by a car or fall off a cliff or spontainously combust...would you really care if you had on clean underwear or not?

well, if one of those things happened, even if you STARTED with clean underwear...... it wouldn't remain that way

Actually I would hope not, don't the EMTs have to cut off your pants to give you first aid some of the time? I wouldn't want them chopping up one of my better pairs of boxers. Plus if something really crazy happened to me, who's to say they would still be clean ;-)

No..but apparently it was important to my mother and to mothers everywhere that as we were lying there bleeding that some paramedic wouldn't whisper to his partner.."Gee. You'd think they'd have put on clean underwear".
