Leave it as it is. I understand that there'll be a next time (7 next times, to be exact, since you're a cat!!!) and thus you'll have a decorative breakthrough done on your ceiling!!!

Oh Sweetie, Are you alright? Leave the fur on the ceiling for now and go rest. Later on just take the vacuum hose with the long pipe and suck the fur off the ceiling.

With a dry sponge mop. Take down as much as you can and when it looks reasonable clear, then bring out the buckets of water and cleanser and scrub it again.
And next time, cut the RED WIRE!

wait for the static to die down a bit, then it will fall on it's own...
You may want to rub a dryer sheet over your coat to de-frizz yourself, too
