I like these types of books, but i don't like writers who include a lot of sexual content in the story. What authors have you found that write a good story, without a lot of sex in the story. I don't think sex is necessary for a suspense type book like it might be for a romance novel.
thanks

Try Agatha Christie, Robert Ludlum, Tom Clancy, Leon Uris...enjoy.

Definitely try Agatha Christie, she wrote a lot of books (I don't recall ANY sex in them). And she wrote some of the most best murder mysteries I have EVER read. I usually don't figure out the murderer until the end, there's a lot of suspense too, usually the murderer keeps killing throughout the book, until caught. The phrase "suspect everyone" takes new meaning.

Well I read a book called Firestorm a few months ago. It was a strange book, actually. The sentences were very short and i think everything was in the present tense. It had A LOT of action in it. I know for sure that sex wasn't in it exactly, but there might have been sexual content.

Thrillers, Stephen King and Dean Koontz. Neither have much sex but plenty of thrills and mystery. My favorite authors.

I would have to go with Dean Koontz as well. I've read several of his books and don't recall ever reading any sexual content.

And they are all really good books.

John LeCarre writes some damn fine spy thrillers. In general there is some sex, but it is not really graphic or pervasive.
