I got the codes off the ECU.. it blinked 2 times, 8 times, then 1 time ,then repeated it.... I have done a little reasearch my self.. but i am kinda confused.. PLEASE HELP ME....
Any info would be great!!!
Code Chart out of CHILTON tells me this
Code 2 -- Oxygen Content
Code 8 -- TDC Position
Code 1 -- Oxygen Content (again?)

The Honda service manual for the 91 prelude 2.1 says that the code 1 is for the oxygen sensor heater circuit and code 2 is for the oxygen sensor sensing element. the heater circuit is like the heating element in a toaster and is used to stabilize the temperature of the sensing element as oxygen sensors are inefficient under 600 degrees F. The code 1 means the heating element is burnt out. code 2 means the sensing element isn't working well either. Assuming that the wire for the sensor isn't broken, then for either conditon you will have to replace the oxygen sensor as they are generally internal failures of the sensor.
the code 8 is for a failure of the the top dead center (crank sensor) inside the distributor. The service manual says to go into the underhood fuse box and pull the "clock" fuse and leave it out for about 15 seconds. That will clear the codes in the ECU and reset the light. Then, put the fuse back in and run the engine. if the check engine light comes back on, then there is a problem with that sensor that will require it be replaced. if it doesn't come back on, then the problem is 'intermittant' and you can ignore it. This obviously can't be done if you haven't replaced the O2 sensor or otherwise the O2 sensor will set the light off. My guess is that the light probably will not come back on with the TDC code.

What did Ryan Zimmerman ever do to do deserve one hundred? type 30 could be eradicated. no person merits 10 greater powerful than Robinson Cano. i assume Jonathan Broxton have been given the suitable placement on the record. i like Shin Soo-Choo, the call. Aramis could be above Joey. reliable questioning on putting Alex at type AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would call the dealership and check the codes you are getting with them.

Code 1: O2 sensor #1
could be wrong though i'm more familar with OBDII cars
