I never really liked Oil of Olay since the classic scent really turned me off. That said, I tried eventually the Daily Illuminating Face Lotion (it does not have that obnoxious smell) - and that really got me into all their products: I now use this light lotion during the day, and for the night I use (the a bit heavier) Age Defying Renewal Cream.
With other brands I usually either get the feel of too heavy, or too light on my skin - the Olay products just seem to have the right balance for combination skin.

Hi :)
I use to own and operate a revlon and almay outlet store. I gave it up, went to school became a certified aesthetician and am now a stay at home mommy. I honestly would recommend Mary Kay, not just because I sell it but because it is far better than either olay or almay. It is all non-comedogenic and can be geared for your skin specifically. If you are interested let me know I would love to help you!

Oil of Olay has a wider range of skincare products. If you have sensitive skin, get something that is unscented.
Almay is good too, for makeup.
You could also try Clinique, because they are best for sensitive skin. They have both makeup and high tech skincare in reasonable price ranges.

I agree with DiorDior, there's also a skin care called Shiseido, it works really well for any age, they also sell thicker and stronger skin cares.. I've been using Shiseido's face cleanser, softener, and lotion for more then 4 years. It works really well for all skin kinds from sensitive to rough.
They sell for decent prices too :)
