lol you're right, it is easy. Percentage just means "out of 100". So you're taking the fraction where your number correct is the numerator and the total number possible is the denominator (so 38/50), and changing it to its equivalent with 100 as a denominator. Divide 100 by the denominator. 2. Multiply that by the numerator. 2 x 38 = 76. For your second question, 100 is already the denominator. So just restate the numerator. 80%

To convert a fraction to a percentage, you multiply by 100.
If you scored 38 / 50, that is 38 * 100 / 50 = 76%.
80 out of 100 is 80%, provided the questions all score equally. Apply the same principle:
Fraction 80 / 100
Multiply by 100:
80 / 100 * 100 = 80%.

First of all, there is no such thing as a dumb question because you are hopefully trying to learn.
you would put 50 into 38
put 50 into 38 0 times
put 50 into 380 7 times
50 x 7=350 30 R
50 into 300 6 times
50 x 6=300
thus your answer is 0.76 0.76 x 100= 76%
80/100=4/5= 80%

To get the percentage correct divide the number correct by the number of problems. 38/50=76%
For 80 out of 100 it would be 80/100=80%
If each question is 2 points then the grade would be 80*2=160 which is how some grades are given.
If however, you want the maximum score to be 100, to find the value of each question divide the number of point total (100) by the number of questions. 100/100=1 point per question.
for the first test 100/50= 2 points per question

if u got 38 out of 50
we could assume ud get 76 out of 100 right (by doubling)
The method we were taught is make it a fraction and times by 100 so 38/50 x 100.
if you get 80 outta 100 it doesn't matter what each questions worth. cause you got 80%
80/100 x 100

per cent means out of 100; if you multiply a number by 100 you get a percentage.
take a number, say 1/2. Multiply by 100 and you get 50%
If you got 38 out of 40, the percentage is (38/40)*100

38 out of 50 = 76 out of 100 = 76% (76 per cent - 76 every 100)
The way to calculate percentages is to adjust (settle) the total quantity to 100.
Example: 4 out of 20. Multiply both terms by 5 and you'll have
20 out of 100 = 20%
Example: 9 out of 43
43 = 100%
1 = 100/43
9 = 900/43 = 20.93...%
80 out of 100 is 80%

I will do the first one.
You got 38 questions right.
Each question correct is worth 2 points.
So, 38 questions times 2 points = 76%, which is a C+ in college language.
You do the rest.
