ok i know everyone is probably sick of these questions..but..
how do mothers know everything about you?
how do they know you havent been a virgin in 2years?
how do they know your still dating the kid they dont want you to date because of his parents?
how do they know your pregnant without you telling them?
how do mothers know everything about you without you saying anything? is it like a vibe or something?
id really like to know how they can possibly know everything.

they know everything because they;ve done everything you've
done before so they no the outcome.

A mother's love is truly a miracle. If your mother knows everything about you you are one lucky individual! Take it as the best compliment you could ever receive in your life. Most parents these days could give a rip about their kids etc etc. There are so many kids that would kill to have a mom care that much about them. So just roll with it, don't fight it too hard, know that your mother loves you very much and be glad that one day you too will posses this great power..hehe

Your mother has seen, cared for, and been around you since the day you were born. She watched you develop the tics that give away when you're lying. She watched you develop from a little girl into an adolescent, and mature into a young woman. If she's even half-way caring and aware, she remembers her own youthful energies, indiscretions, moods and ideas, and knows what to look for in her own daughter.
She also knows, being a mother herself, what the signs are of pregnancy, including the lack of periods, the nausea, the shifts in body shape that come even in early pregnancy.
Be glad you have a mother who seems to see all that. So many girls have mothers who don't know their child, and couldn't care less. They would gladly trade you places anyday of the week.

I don't think that all mothers do know these things. I think that the ones who know are the ones that care. We all go through phases of not doing what our parents think is best for us, but if your mom does care, she will be there for you even though you are no longer a virgin, are still dating that guy, and pregnant.
I try to raise my daughter with love and understanding, and allow her space, and hope that she hears what I tell her about sex, drugs, and all those other detrimental temptations... We'll just have to see how she turns out.

Mothers are intimitely tuned to every nuance of body language, blink, eye twitch, shoulder hang, gesture, and tone. When you were little we used this information to find out what you needed or what the matter what when you cried.
Like the subtlties that allow a flock of birds to fly about in formation (or at least not crash into each other), we see even the faintest signal.
Best to give up and be honest with Mom, even if you disagree. It's okay to disagree. She'll still love you.

i use to wonder about those things too. i have since found out how parent know everything by becoming a parent myself. so if you want to know the answer then become a parent in about 20 years.

well, it only seems like we know everything about you, and at some points in your life, we did... now we can only watch your moods, your body language, what you eat, how you take care of yourself, who you talk about and with, who you hang out with, how you answer our questions (cause heaven forbid you should actually strike up conversations with us on your own) yada yada yada... how about telling us some of this stuff so we don't have to guess and worry all the time, we're on YOUR side, i promise you.... and we want you to be happy, safe and responsible... not a lot to ask, now is it? good luck!

Becuz---believe it or not----mothers were teen girls once and mothers have pretty much done the same things you guys have. By the way, I'm a mom.
