I think that if Micheal Vick had some better wideouts then he would be a great qb. I am not saying that he was horrible receivers but the only person he passes to is Crumpler becuase all of his receivers are just good not excellent. Oh and for the people saying that he is self centered, how can he be self centered to become in the pro bowl because you can't make a probowl just because you're a fast qb, you also have to be good at throwing. This leads me back to he has no one to throw to except Crumpler, his receivers aren't bad but not good. He has no chance but to run unless one of his receivers are wide open or he thinks that Crumpler can catch it. Plus you don't change a position after you have gone so far playing one position, it is hard to do expecially once in the NFL. Look at Vick's brother, Miami switched him to WR, which was stupid because he has the potential to be even better than Micheal, he wasn't good at all at WR, they should have keeped him at QB as the bottom string and let Culppeper mentor him, but if Marcus started getting in trouble, they could drop him by signing a contract for a year or two.

I agree with you. The worst QB in the game. He is the most athletic person in the game but he can't throw or make good decisions. Move him to WR or RB and he will be great. The only reason he made the pro bowl a couple times was because he had good rushing numbers. His WRs suck and when he throws a halfway decent pass it gets dropped, probably because the WRs were too shocked that he acctually threw a good pass.

Ok for one, Vick is defenitly NOT going to move to WR or RB. People got all hyped up because that one game last year he played RB for 2 plays. He has too good of a arm and is to good at QB to be a WR. He is probably the best rushing QB in history and still has a rocket arm, Many of the loses that the falcon's had last year wernt his fault. I look for him to have a good year this year and make a play off' appereance.

He would be great if he wasn't so stupid. Instead of saying the same thing they said about black QB's back in the racist days. Would you say he either should work on his game or the team should cut him. Playing receiver is an art. They're are White QB's who can't throw either like Rex Grossman and David Carr. Should they be moved to another position? David Carr is very fast. I haven't heard anyone suggest that he should be a receiver. You all say that black QB's are not as good as white QB's. Then you judge black QB's on a higher scale. Whats up with that? White people down rate White peoples athleticism but get mad at black people for being great athletes. Are you all trying to have it both ways?

Kenny J possibly said one of the dumbest things I've ever read. "Thats not true he has one of the strongest arms in the leauge just needs to work on accruccy?" That's what being a quarterback is all about, he doesn't have great arm strength, he's erratic at best. He's been in the league like seven seasons, he isn't a rookie, he didn't just start his first game this past season. This has to be his final season to prove himself, if the Falcons can't make the playoffs, no, if they don't win the NFC Conference, he is a stone cold bust! Don't even try the Peyton defense on how long it took him to win in the post-season, at least he's consistent and has gotten there just about every year. Falcons fans, take off the homer shades and put down the kool-aid because you're not getting anywhere with him.

Yes, he is highly overrated. I'm all for athletic quarterbacks, deepens their arsenal. But Vick has no accuracy on his throws, therefore completes barely 50 percent of his throws. To his defense, his wide recievers suck, but still..with all the hype that surrounds him, he doesn't deliver. He's 28 I believe, and still hasn't accomplished anything since leaving Virginia Tech other then a rushing record for Qb and a pro bowl or two. Wait, those are all records for himself, not the team...self centered, overrated, useless QB

Between the problems with the Atlanta O-line, his own inconsistencies last season (some would add "and seasons past"), and all of his offseason troubles, unless he pulls his head out & focuses on his game, this year could be the teller. Whether or not Vick is even worth keeping as QB, much less the starter.

I don't think he's over-rated,but he is underutilizing his talents.

Well he did throw for 4 tds against the steelers and the bengals,

BUT

the keyword is consistensy,

hell, vick can throw for 8 TDs in a game if he wanted to (not against the pats of course), but he cannot play good week in and week out, and he has to carry the team on his shoulders for most of the season, and his defense hasn't been doing anything to help him. And remember peyton manning won the superbowl because in the wild card and divisional round, the defense carried the colts. But this year he has Horn as a wideout so i guess he might have a good season. Lets see this coming season because for vick it is either now or never.
