Some people use olive oil - drop some in your ear a couple of times a day (2-3X per day) and it softens the ear wax so the natural cleaning out process can occur.
You can go to the chemist and buy some ear drops that do a similar thing - Waxol or Cerumol (the brand names may be different in your country).
Some of the other remedies such as ear candles are not recommended by doctors, but some people seem to use them nevertheless.

I have the same problem and sometimes the wax plugs my ear. A doctor told me to put a few drops of crisco vegetable oil in my ears every night and that would keep it soft.
I also flush my ears to get the wax out of them. Take a very large syringe or an ear syringe and fill it with warm water. Put it next to your ear canal and push the water out as fast as you can. I lean over the sink with the stopper in, so I can see if I get any wax out or not. I use the syringe several times on each ear, it won't hurt if you do it more than that. I try and get the water as warm as I can stand, but don't get it too hot!! You honestly won't believe the amount of wax you can flush out of your ear this way. I do this about once every couple of months and it keeps my ears pretty much wax free. A regular syringe works better than the ear syringe. The best one I have found is one that is designed to inject spices in meat, cause it holds quite a bit of water. Take off the needle part, though! Just use the syringe part of it.
Good luck, I hope it helps you.

Some people "candle" their ears. Stick a hollow candle in the ear and light the end. You get ear candles at health food stores. This is not as radical as it sounds. Also, you can go to the drug store and get an ear wax removal kit. I think Baucsh and Lombe makes one. You put some drops in your ear and let them soften the wax and then use a warm water syringe (supplied) to flush out the wax. Good luck.

Try the drops. Warmed oils are good but I have tried those candle things and they didn't really do anything. The stuff I found in them just looked like melted wax from the candle. One study even found that they could deposit wax into your ears! Peroxide or whatever doesn't really work either. The pharmacy stuff might work if you're into that sort of thing.

I've used ear candles. When I was done candling, I cut the candle open and couldn't believe all the crap that it sucked out of my ear. But, being a skeptic, I burned one with the end stuck in a bowl of water. The exact same thing was in it when I cut it open. So, I don't know. But I can tell you that for some reason my ears, and even my sinuses and whole head, felt more open and cleaner. They're pretty inexpensive. They won't hurt you (if used properly) and they might make you feel better.

there is a medicine that softens wax in the ears it comes by te commercial name of waxol. you will ave to regularly apply the drops in both the ears for a few days. but please go to the doctor if your ear aches or there is reduced hearing. please do not take chances. there is no need to be scared all that they do is to syringe the wax out with a sterile fluid. and it is painless.

A home remedy is to get a hairpin (not a key or q-tip) and gently probe in your ear and pull it out. the looped end of the hairpin will gather ear wax and enable you to pull it out. Don't stick it too far in your ear, however, because you don't want to risk rupturing your ear drum.
