My boyfriend of a year and a half is the only individual I know with a addiction to masturbating, I guess he isn't hurting anyone but I get jealous. He could mastubate everyday even if we have intercourse. It is more of an emotional or physiclogical addiction. I always thought masturbating was a way of fulfilling yourself but it is more than that for him. Is this normal? Serious answers only please!

Ok also, he has passed up having sex with me and then masturbated, (claiming he was tired and it was less work) he has also lost erections while having sex with me (I don't know if he masturbated after that)

Hooray for healthy libidos! There's nothing wrong with it - unless he would rather masturbate for an extended period of time rather than having intercourse with you. There's no problem in desiring both. When you guys do have intercourse, is it good? Is he a considerate lover? If he is, then you really shouldn't be worrying about it. Roughing up the suspect on a regular basis is totally normal.
Well, that does change things if he passes up sex with you to pleasure himself. You need to sit him down and talk this out with him. He may have intimacy issues with you. (or other people in general) But giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe sometimes he does just see it as easier... but he should then take time to make sure you get yours too... Selfish lovers are never any fun.

i totally understand that you get jealous but you have to know that some people have a higher sex drive than others. ALSO if this is a habbit for him now than you have to think that it has been a habbit for him ever since he reached puberty. he has been doing it every day for years now so in his mind its no big deal.
as long as you are satisfied with what he does with YOU its all good in the hood.

I would say he is addicted too. Passing up sex is the defining thing here. He clearly has a preference. I am addicted myself and I can see that in his behavior.

If he is a teenager it is normal. A grown man should have better things to do than masturbate.

Masturbation is never having to say you're sorry, LOL! As long as he's taking care of you and he's not cheating, let him do whatever. We're guys, that's what we do.

That's probably his main habit now. Usually men do that.

the real question is are you satisfied with his love making and the frequency of it.
If yes, then let it go.
If no then let him know.
Good Luck

i wouldn't see this as a big deal. Why don't you talk to him about this if you have reason to be concerned.
