Without those in this world. Why would you need Wars? But there are Radical people who will attempt to keep those aspects out in this world. Therefore, We must be willing to go where they are? Or they will come to us! War is Hell Democracy isn't cheap.

War is always beneficial in the eyes of the victor. I am sure people who believe in Fascism or Communism didn't see things that way, or people in Africa (Angola etc) where war just led from one corrupt President/Leader to another corrupt President/Leader. I am just offering another viewpoint - I am neither fascist, Nazi communists or anything other than an everyday person, - so has war benefited me? yes because I continue to live the kind of life I choose and not one that is chosen for me. However, I do believe war solves nothing in a positive way - there is always too great a cost, and nine times out of ten it is only the corrupt that benefit. An old saying states - you make a million from the birth of a country or the fall of a country.

Well, my first thought on reading your question, honestly, was that if women were in charge of the world, most of those things would have been ended by diplomacy, rather than fighting. Then I realized that if women were in charge of the world, most of that stuff wouldn't have happened in the first place. Please understand I am not male bashing. It's just that in my 39 years, I have noticed that the two sexes think in very different ways, and that men and women go about both causing changes (such as making national policy, like making a country fascist) and solving conflicts (self-explanatory) in very different ways.
The only thing I can think of that has ever been aided by war is a country's economy. War is big business, and it can mean a lot of money for the people who are involved in the manufacture of war materiel. Since there are usually a lot of people needed to produce the goods, that money does tend to have a broad impact on a country, even if it's just in the form of wages.
However, your main premise is entirely correct. It doesn't matter where the fighting has taken place--it hasn't ever helped anything. I know people who argue that the "Indian Wars" in the US were a good thing, because the government was able to move Native Americans off of valuable land, such as the Black Hills, and open it up for settlers. I guess "good" is relative. In all honesty, I would prefer that white settlers had found a way to co-exist peacefully with the people who were already here. I really couldn't care less if the Black Hills have a good gold deposit. There was a lot of gold in California, and there was a lot in the Yukon. Having even more gold didn't make us a better country, or better educated, or kinder, or more respectful. It just made people greedy.
The thing that saddens me is that as long as there are people on this planet, and as long as there are sticks and rocks, and as long as there's one patch of land with prettier, greener grass, there's always going to be fighting. As Einstein said, "I know not with what weapons WWIII will be fought, but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones." I think that's correct. Even if we all manage to blast ourselves nearly into non-existence, the few people who are left will still fight.
We all know that there are certain basic drives for the human animal, such as the need for affection and the need for food. I really believe that in some way, the need for aggression is just as basic. I don't know what purpose it serves, but it seems to be every bit as important as any other drive, because we do it all the time.

Any one who believes violence(war) does not solve things has never been in a public school. Three years ago my son was attacked at school and when he defended himself successfully he was expelled. The jury who sat on the case when I sued for civil rights violation deliberated for 8 minutes and awarded all the requested damages then some. The jury ordered the courts to strip the school superintendent of all his licenses so that a clear message would be sent statewide. The schools are not allowed to punish someone for defending him or herself.
The bully that blindsided my son got the living crap hammered out of him and has not hit anyone since. Oh yes, the school had refused to press charges on the bully on this and five other incidents.

That's an interesting question & a change of pace for you.
War is certainly not a thing to be desired & I think the reasons for this are obvious. But when certain individuals & governments oppress their people, commit genocide & threaten the annihilation of entire nations (I don't care what anyone says, the US does none of these things.), then war is sometimes a necessary evil. Just imagine what kind of world we'd be living in today if Hitler had gone unchallenged, for example.
That's my take on it.

War has not ended any of these. All of these still exist to this day.
The only thing WAR is good for is resolving short-term disputes between powerful, insane, and corrupted world leaders.

For me that would be justification enough. But unfortunately man is a waring creature. From the early caveman to today's "modern man", wars have been fought over territory, possessions and even women. And I see no change in our immediate future. Maybe one day we will all learn to live and let live, but it's not going to happen any time soon.

No one ever wants war as the final choice! I'm going to have to disagree with you on this point, salient tho' it may be! Terrorism cannot be seen, it is fueled by hatred and it took 3000+ of our innocent fellow Americans. I think we should have gone to war and I think, since the damn insurgents don't seem to get the message re: their useless killings, that we should continue to walk tall and carry a big stick. As long as man's inhumanity to man is exceeded only by his stupidity, we shall have wars!
