If so, what are the main reasons why (I know there are lots, but pick the most important)?
If not, who's worse?

Yes. He took us from 8 years of peace to almost 8 years of war (and kept changing the reason for why we went to war), took us from the biggest budget surplus to the biggest deficit, and from one of the most respected nations in the world to probably the most hated. And he's still got a year and a half to do even more damage!

Not even close. Worst in present history is Carter. Record high inflation, gas lines, record high interest rates, caused the Iran/Iraq problem, sold the Panama Canal, hostage crisis etc etc. And that's just a start. Ask anyone who lived during that era. Under Bush we've been safe since 2001 and we've seen the stock market hit an all time peak of 14,000. No president has done this. I don't like much of the Bush policies, but by staying out of the economy we saw incredible growth. That is, until the democrats won congress. Now the market is barely over 8,000. These recent scandals by senate democrats has really hurt the economy. But liberals write the history books, so don't expect the truth to be easy to find.

He's not the worst president/person in history.
You Anti-Americans have taken on that role.

Bush: Good man, good president. Probably not one of the best, but he was right for this time. Not the smartest, but certainly not dumb, and certainly better than the alternatives.

Disagree with policy, fine. Disagree with methods, fine. But disagree. This crap some of you have been spewing for 6yrs now is not just disagreement, its hate. Brewing from where, I am not sure. Either way, no matter what you say or do, George Bush will be remembered in history as a good man, a good president, who believed in something noble and stubbornly stuck to it.

So I would appreciate it if some of you showed more respect to our president, my president, from now on. Please, continue to disagree - that is welcome...that is America. But stop the ignorant hate-speech and just maybe you might be pleasantly suprised to find more willing ears and minds in the future.

No, I dont know all the facts. I havent read all the articles and books and scoured over interviews of so-called "experts". For one, neither do any of you, and two, I dont really need to. And might I add, none of us here could have been a president for the last 6yrs and done any better.

It has to be yes. Not since the Civil War has this country been so divided. All the right keep saying they are right. I say being right doesn't make you so. The Republicans keep calling the Democrats names and when they try to stand up for themselves, they say we are idiots. They say Bush is a Christian, I thought I was a Christian and I wouldn't kill all those people on 9/11 so I could go to war with the country I wanted to for oil and kill thousands of innocent Iraqis. I wouldn't lie to get what I wanted, I don't steal ( if you really knew Bush's history, he did, more than once). What about lying about someone to get their job as he did in Texas. He hires all his groupies that aren't qualified to do the job. I'm sorry, I'm not buying it, if he is a Christian then Jesus isn't.

Thank CARTER for the present situation.
He "helped" the Mujaheddin create a culture of war that has lasted over a generation.
Toppled the Shah of Iran ,(OOOH! don't get those protesters under control! You need to give them free speech! Hey wait a minute ,thats our embassy!) giving us the present government.
Oh right , peace in the middle east. NOT.
Do not make me sicker than I am from this short list.

The only people that consider him the worst in history are flaming liberals that need someone to hate, and he is it.

They cant have any honest political debate and they know they cant compromise him because what he believes doesnt change with the winds of polls, so they have to stick to trying to discredit him with false accusations.

George W. Bush is the best, most honest, and most liberal president since Clinton.

Far from it. He is merely the worst since Bill Clinton. Carter was the worst in my lifetime. Buchanon was probably the worst of all time.
