i know everyone is different and it depends on your body but i still have to ask, i am almost 38 weeks pregnant and i have gained about 55 pounds so far, i havent ate the healthiest and i havent exercised, i did work the whole time i was pregnant but i left work about 3 weeks ago and i have always been a small person about 100-110 pounds, i am 5'3", after i graduated high school i gained about 25 pounds over the summer from being lazy and then i got pregnant right after, i was about 133 when i got pregnant now i am almost at 190!!! i have never been this big, i am not a big person, i am also retaining a lot of water, how hard do you think it wil be for me to lose this weight and get back down to about 115-120??? i am not big on working out, i will try to walk when i can and cut back on eating fast food but do you think that will be enough? i cant stand being this big and i just want to be normal weight again! i know breast feeding helps with the loss and im not doing that either

Well I am currently 35 weeks pregnant and I am on track to gain the same amount of weight I did 2 years ago with my first daughter 45 lbs. It took my about 5 months to get back to my prepregnancy weight I did work out a little but only in the beginning and I breast fed which really helped I think that was the most important factor in regaining my shape. As for your situation if your not going to do any of these things then it may take a little longer, but don't worry. As soon as you give birth you will loose a lot and if you're retaining water that will go away fast too. You will probably loose 30-40 lbs in the first month, it will be the last part of it that will be hard with out exercise and breast feeding. I'm telling you breast feeding really is a miracle for your body you should really think more about it before you just say you won't. Besides you will have a much happier, healthier baby if you do. Trust me my 2 year old is yet to even have a runny nose. Good luck to you and I really hope you change your mind, for your body and your babies sake.

Everyone is different, but I've read a lot of stories about people who have gained 60-80 or more pounds and lost most of it, if not all of it, within the first year or less. Some people say 9 months to put in on and 9 months to take it off...so I wouldn't worry about it too much. I am 38 weeks pregnant also and I've gained about 55-60 pounds. (It's different everytime I weigh myself..sometimes it's 186 and sometimes it's 190.) I was 130 when I got pregnant, so I know EXACTLY how you're feeling. I plan to breastfeed tho. If it helps to lose weight, I'm going for it. Hope it works out for you!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Unlike you, I was already a big/plus size girl before I got pregnant. I too gained 55lbs and had a lot of water weight. Mine all came off and then some. Especially if you are carrying the water. Just walk a little bit too after you recover. Don't worry you will be normal weight again.. I only breast fed for a month. .Congrats

I know what you mean! It really sucks. I was about 130 lbs when I got pregnant and went up to 200lbs! I had him 4 months ago and im just now down to 155lbs. It seems to take forever. Im dieting and walking for about 30-45 min a day. Im not good at working out either. Good luck!

I lost 10 pounds my first week. not ok to have a cheat day...Atkins works because of the fact it burns fat as quickly as there is not extra sugar to burn. fat burns quicker than sugar. it is going to in certainty stop the approach and you may desire to start up as quickly as extra to get your physique back into ketosis. Its extremely a foul concept whilst in induction. Ive lost 50 pounds in 2 months...and are growing to be used to not ingesting bread, pastas, and sugars. Ive presented fruit and finished wheat grains into my food habitual (sparsely). Im not continuingto loss weight on the point i grow to be, yet Im not gaining.
