Many people in many sun signs are prone to depression. Water signs: Cancer and Pisces are the most emotional. Remember though that EVERYBODY has these signs in their charts, it would take an astrologer to determine the strength of the placement in their chart. For instance, you would have to look deeper into a chart to see if their Moon, Neptune (alcohol, drugs, lack of reality) are badly aspected and what zodiac signs they are in and what house placements they are in. Some of the "heavy" planets like Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto would need to be reviewed as well for deep-seated problems that could lead to depression, anxiety, etc.

The Whole birth chart needs to be studied Strong Saturn , Chiron ,Neptune and Pluto will cause depression in each of the 4 planets ways Saturn hardship, Chiron injustice and misunderstanding Neptune longing and divine discontentment and Pluto pure nightmare. Uranus brings mental breakdowns. as far as the signs I would say Cancer , Scorpio and Pisces Cancer will think of the past and yearn Scorpio will fell all the pain and anger they have had to deil with and will become world-weary and angry And Pisces will turn to drugs and Alcohol to avoid this Horrible, Horrible world

I would have to say capricorn. I'm a capricorn and Sometimes no matter how hard I try to keep a positive attitude I fall into deep depression. I have clinical depression and I have to take medication at times just to feel normal. I have two other capricorn friends that also have problems with depression.

We're searching for a utopia that doesn't exist and try to fix the unfixable.
We want to do what we want when we want, so we have trouble with over demanding schedules

Capricorn, because it starts in december and ends in Janurary which is the worst time of year for depression to strike due to the winter. I know that I get really depressed during the winter and I hate it. That is just me.

Seriously it depends on alot more than just your sun sign, but it would most likely be a Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio considering that they are water signs and are very emotional people.

i used to work in a psychiatrict hopsital before. the signs that seek out counseling & psychiatrict help are always. virgo, gemini, scorpio & pisces. the fish would usually go inn for depression treatment at least thats what they claimed.
