I think he is and don't say he is just because his body was gone because what crime scene have you ever heard of where the police didn't move the body? Its not unreasonable to think that they moved it. Still do you think he is dead, alive or dead but will come back to life?

Sylar is still alive. He may be seriously wounded, but he'll be back next season. They show a trail of blood leading to a manhole right at the end of the episode. He either crawled into that manhole on his own, or was dragged there by someone else.

Sylar is very much alive and he crawled down the sewer like the rat he is . Nope very much alive and will come back and join up with the other evil guy they are bringing on .

I think he's alive. At the end, you see a bloody trail leading to an open manhole. I got the impression he'd gotten away alive somehow (even though I thought he was dead after Hiro stabbed him).

i think soo ..but i dont know. since hiro killed him with the sword that he was supposed to and that sylar has no regenerating power..or anything similar to that. but he probally is alive since they are making another season...the writers will find a way to keep him..oh yeah i forgot about the guy who can see molly..wonder who that is..but i want peter to be alive..i love him ahha.
oh did you here that it will come back in 2008? insane right..

Because they are now going to bring in that new character.
The one who can see Molly when she trys to track him.
He could be like Sylars father or something && he will go on that whole killing spree thing.
So yeah Sylar is probably in my opinion dead.

actually you see the bloody trail going to the manhole cover and what I thought was a cockroach moving about in the blood.....I think he is dead because he never killed the cheerleader and got her power to rejuvenate.....I also think he died because you saw the events flash across his eyes just before he died......
