criticizing what Edwards said? Is it because he hit too close to the truth? Bush has made America a weaker, less great nation. Bush will not be returning America in the same condition in which he received it in 2000!

The thing that concerns me most about the country and its future is the American people. When I see 35% of Democrats, 35 -- a huge number of Americans think that George Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened. You have to conclude, then, that they also might think he let it happen if he knew about it, and then what you conclude after that, you need somebody that studies the insane to be able to tell us. But aside from that, people like you, and there are more people like you than you know who are willing to fight for the country, to maintain the institutions and traditions that have defined it and have made it great, there are more of you than you know. We still have an opportunity here for a rosy future. The nation has always been threatened from outside and from within. It has always faced threes threats, and it's because of our freedom. I asked somebody over the weekend while I was out in Los Angeles, I was stunned this person in their late forties or early fifties, had not even considered this question. I said, I don't remember how we got on to this. "You travel to Europe, right?" "Oh, yeah." "Have you ever asked yourself how a country 250 years old runs rings in virtually every way you can imagine around countries that have been around thousands of years? How is it we are the world's lone superpower? How is it that we come to feed the world? How is it that we, Americans, the United States of America, is the economic engine, the technological engine of this world? How is that possible? We're no different. We came out of the womb as human beings just as everybody else around the world did, those of you lucky enough to make it out of the womb, what's the difference? How can this be?

Lets get a few things straight here.

You all love to bash bush and whine about how he is ruining our country. At least he has the dang balls to defend this country even though he knew it would be the end of him politically.

On the other hand, you and the rest of the Liberals are bust destroying this country from the inside. You truly are the Enemy within.

It is the DEMOCRATS and their far left leaning base that have dismantled the working class here in America.

YOU are the ones who want to punish people for working hard and being successful by taxing them to the hilt to support those that sit on their asses and get a welfare check.

YOU are the ones who want to enlarge the government and pull in more taxes, create more beauracracies to give our tax dollars away to “underserved populations”. They are underserved because they REFUSE to serve THEMSELVES!

YOU are the ones who would rather apologize for those that attack us and kill our citizens rather than doing what needs to be done and exterminate them from the face of this earth like so much VERMIN.

YOU are the ones who ruin the idea of the working man and the working class family by welcoming illegal aliens into our country who take jobs away.

YOU are the ones who are destroying the working class family by telling the country it is okay to have children out of wedlock that you cannot SUPPORT, that it is okay for two men to adopt a child and raise him in a home telling him that it is natural and right.

YOU are the ones who are trying to force multi-culturalism down our throats and strip the American people of the culture this country and the principles which it was founded on. The principles of Hard work and faith in God.

You can spill all the damn fluff you want while you are driving your Prius (I call it a Pious) at 10 miles an hour under the speed limit because you are so busy looking down your nose at those of us that are “working class” that you cannot see the roadway to drive properly.

But leave the rest of us that know what this country can be, and what it means to be a hard working, God fearing, respectable and moral citizen out of your sick twisted view of what is right and what is wrong.

Raising your children in a traditional home, with a proper diet, strong morals and a desire to succeed in life is not wrong.

I stand by those words.

You are exactly correct, Bush has ruined this country so bad it will take years to fix it , if we can at all. I think Edwards would make a great President, but it is going to be the hardest job in the world to fix it. Its funny how every time you bring up something, the Bushies say Clinton started it. Well the next 5 or so Presidents can say Bush started it. Payback is a bi___.

I am not sure what you mean by "net contribution".

Economically, President Bush inherited an economy that was in recession. We are no longer in a recession. The economy has added tens of thousands of jobs since Bush took office, inflation has been fairly low, and unemployment is also low. The things to be concerned about are the number of sub-prime mortgages that stupid people took out, the amount of personal debt, and the rising price of fuel.

We are criticizing it, because we were here in 2000. We weren't just hatched. Or flown in from Mars.

Why does it seem like Liberals have no memories and can be told anything that tickles their ears?

I am tired of seeing Liberals' scapegoat people (Bush or Republicans or whomever) when they want to get their way. Life changed after 9-11.

Nope, he won't be.

He was given an economy in recession.. and will leave with a health economy.

He was given a country where terrorists could attack without worrying about a response.. he's leaving enemies hiding in the bottom of caves.

Why do liberals hate to see the US succeed?

If anything, Bush made America richer, stronger, and bigger.

Depends on your metrics...

Economically, I'm much better off. My liberties are in more danger....but I can afford more guns. I call that a net positive.
