Hi my hubby and I are considering going to Las Vegas with our 8 month old baby. Has anyone done this before? If so, how was your experience and would you recommend it.

Vegas isn't a family destination, they tried it and it didn't work. They have gone back to old school, adult playground. Vegas isn't set up for kids and sure isn't for babies. Fact is Vegas is cracking down on kids with more curfews and restrictions (yes that wouldn't apply to you). They are having huge problems with crime directed toward kids, that is why they don't want them anymore.
You and your husband will not have fun. Instead why don't you leave the child at home and reconnect with your husband. At 8 months it's about time for you to have some alone time.
You are going to a place that sells gambling, sex, booze and vice. Why in the world would you want to take a baby to that?

No, along with the others I don't recommend [it]. I wonder why you'd be taking an 8-month old anywhere, much less Vegas, but that wasn't your question.
Vegas is not a family-friendly town, but then your baby is too young to know the difference anyway,
Still, I'd vote no for some of the other reasons (noise, smoking).

I am assuming you are going to the Strip and if so, do not bring your infant to Vegas. You cannot go to any shows, clubs, bars or casinos so there is no point in spending the money on going. As many others have stated before, it is an adult paradise and does not cater towards children. If you really want to go to Vegas, leave your child at home or just wait until he/she is 21 years old.

It's a lot of things to do in Vegas with your family but not for an 8 month old. I wouldn't take my 8month old baby to most places because I wouldn't have any fun! Unless you being someone that is willing to baby sit while you go out, I wouldn't being the baby.

flow to the suitable of the "Needle" and watch the persons driving the curler coaster and the drop rides. flow to manhattan, manhattan casino and for a small cost, holiday the curler coaster. Ceaser's Palace procuring mall is very well worth the flow to. shifting statue show each and every hour. exciting and exciting. in case you have budgeted some $ for a show....the Blue guy team on the Pyramid is an extremely stunning show, with objective marketplace participation. The walk via Belagio's is an journey. great place to flow to, have exciting and with the help of all potential stay on the overwhelmed direction with the crowds. Vegas is all on the subject of the persons. i'm going to be back obtainable in September for my 5th time.

I'm not sure if thats the best idea in the world. Vegas can be a little inapropriate. There's drunk people everywhere sex going on, and gambleing. And it is pretty loud. If I were you I wouldn't bring the baby. I hope I could help!

Some of the hotels won't let you take the kid into their property at all, unless you are a guest.
You can't bring the kid into the casino floor either.
It's loud, and smokey everywhere.
You can't bring the baby into any of the shows.
If you come during the summer it can get above 110.

I wouldn't do it. There's a lot of noise and secondhand smoke in the casinos - neither of which are beneficial to a child. You can't take an infant to any of the clubs or shows, and they don't want them on the casino floor, and your child is too young for any of the other attractions. Not to mention, it's a b*tch to maneuver a stroller thru the huge crowds!

Sure! Family Fun! I am 10 i got taken when i was 5. And i have gone every year since. Las Vegas might look like all ADULTS things but its not. Vegas is great. Since you have a small family you should stay at the MGM. It is very pretty. Safe and reliable.
Now that im out of school i am going again. Yes you should go... you will like it.
