"This Little Birdie"

Matt was busy at work on Sunshine MacGillicutty's farm. Matt and his Sunny had been going together for a couple months,now..... The two happiest months of Matt's life. After 20 years in a relationship with Kitty Russell, he thought he knew what he wanted. Then came DA BOMB from Virginia. She had his heart the moment they locked eyes. For a man who had thought life was better led in a calm, predictable pattern, his world had been turned upside down. He NEVER knew what she was going to say or sing or do next. One minute she was baking her famous pie:

Sweet Cherry,Rang a Dang Dang, Who's Your Momma, Tornado's A' Comin', Green Apple Pie.

The next minute she'd sing a song she had just written for him:
And she always sang with (3) More than a (little bit of) a feeling.

And the next minute.....Well the next minute she'd be jumping his bones.....And it wouldn't matter WHERE they were!! ...........
Sometimes the front yard, the hayloft, the kichen.........Jeeze! She even nailed him once in the balcony at church! Matt smiled as these thoughts floated through his mind......"She's a (6) Barracuda one minute and a little farm girl the next. Mmm...mmm....mmmm. And every time (5) Feels like the first time."

As he stood there lost in his daydream, Sunshine came out of the house and wrapped her arms around him.
Sunshine:"Hey, baby. Whatcha doin'?" Matt held her close to him.
Matt: Why, I'm thinking 'bout YOU, SunnyMac. I'm so happy that you flew into my life, you little (1) Free bird."
Sunshine: ( To the tune of "This Little Piggie went To Market.")

♫ " This little birdie went to Front Street. And this little birdie flew the coop. This little birdie had a big lunch. And this little birdie had to poop. (She then reached out to touch his.......body.) And THIS little birdie .....Well this little birdie was a happy little birdie...."♫

Matt:"Little, huh?!" He led her back inside the farm house. He pulled back the covers on the bed,
kicked off his boots and took off his clothes. ( Dear GOD! My glasses are fogging up!) Sunshine undressed at the foot of the bed. She had that gleam in her eye. That smile she smiled JUST before she was going to do something wild *** crazy! Matt braced himself. As she dove into bed, next to him, she let out her familiar Tarzan scream:

I've been a ramblin' man all my life. A free bird, you could say. But something was missing. I felt like a real barracuda sometimes. No serenity, no solace. Then I had the vision. That wheel in the sky. There's no other way to describe it. It probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but that's what I saw. It feels like the first time I've been able to say it, but I'm finally at peace. It's more than a feeling.

Men are so easily duped!! I mean REALLY!!!!! How can they fall for the SAME lines time and time again? For instance, the other night, in the heat of the moment, I told my boyfriend Rocky "Oh baby, it feels like the first time all over again". It was , to be more accurate, more like 'wake me when your done'.......SNORE!!!)
He totally ate it up, however!!! I mean, I thought women were supposed to be the ones who wanted to "cuddle" and "make nice" following the big "O"! He had nearly smothered me with bear hugs and words of love!
"I used to be a ramblin' man, but no more of that, not with a woman like you" he had stated to my rapidly cooling body!!Humph!!, I thought "I used to be a barracuda and now I'm as tame as a goldfish"!!
In reality I have been fantasizing allot lately about finding a new lover! It has actually come to the point where it is more than a feeling, it's an obsession!! Ah, those were the days when I was a free bird, just picking and choosing to my promiscuous little hearts content!!
Suddenly my little fantasy is interrupted by loud snoring!! I disentangle myself and fall into a deep fitful sleep. In my dream, I see a big wheel in the sky spinning rapidly! Pat Sajak is there and so is Vanna White!! The wheel begins slowing .......slower and slower..... it finally stops on...."JACKPOT"
Hope springs eternal!!!! (at least in my dreams!)

He was driving a rig out of Texas, full loaded and bound for Cheyenne. He was just a free bird, a real good-loving rambling man. He had quite a way with the ladies; "sweet daddy" was his middle name. Until he met a young girl named Chlorinda, and he ain't never been quite the same. He met Chlorinda in Denver. He was sure that big wheel in the sky would spin Chlorinda to his bed. He laughed that by the time she woke up, he'd be headed to Cheyenne. Well, he got to pining for Chlorinda. With her, it felt like the first time. Chlorinda was a real barracuda. It's funny how things came to be. As he slipped that ring on her finger, he knew that the laugh was on him.
