Yes someone could....i don't think your neck is designed to look back behind you.
But The hot gases of a fart coming from inside your body would be warmer than your breath would actually show up stronger.

funny thing that ,while ice fishing several years ago we tried just that after alot of drinking and wicked 5 alarm chile we did see a fart I would like to mention it was about 25 below so I would guess it would have to be very cold and no wind.

the only ingredient I got here arise with is so which you will bypass outdoors and fart, and on an analogous time as doing so look in the back of you and notice if it smoking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! however the seize is you will prefer to be bare because of the fact clothing will block the breeze....(i know for a actuality which you will scent it although)
