I use to watch Rosie show and i loved it, now i hate to watch the view anymore because she is on and says such embarrising things. I believe her leaving is a great idea. She should not have singled out Elizabeth for not defending her. thats not her responsibility. Calling her a coward was uncalled for. If she has said something and someone has misrepresented her then She must Explain herself. IT doesn't matter wether your white, black, big, little, lesbian, straight, gay, repubican, or democrat. She should not use those things to explain why people are mad with what she says. she should stop and think before she speaks. Elizabeth has a right to her opinions, just as Rosie.......... I think Rosie should apologize

Rosie doesn't pic fights with anyone else on the show because everyone else is older and wiser, and has a strong group following. she pics on elizabeth because she is young and new in the business. Rosie said to Elizabeth why didn;t you stand up for me, and Elizabeth was explaining that "why should she have too", you made the statement then you should explain yourself. How could she stand up for something she too was confised about. Rosie said our troups were terrorist. Maybe she didn;t mean it the way she said it, but she should explain herself. She has yet to do so. She was angry and a bully. She took it out on elizabeth. People say they were friends. Do we as the public Know this, they don't act like it on the show. Even if they were friends, Do you expect your friend to take up for you on a comment So controversal to this country? Do you expect them to explain it for you? Rosie needs to realize that everything is not about her and her opinion.

This also is not about wether elizabeths opinions off things is right or wrong. the same with Rosie. This is about Rosie expecting and attachings elizabeth for not taking up fpr her about her view. I am sure that Rosie doesn't do that for her.

I also think Rosie should apologize to Elizabeth. And I also think she should apologize to the American People for all her comments about the American Troops being Terrorists.. how awful for all those mothers, fathers, wives and children hearing her bad-mouth the troops and calling them Terrorists. Imagine, she is saying such things of the American men out their fighting for her rights and freedom.. The American People should take that women to court for slander. She is a disgrace.

Much later....
I am having a suspicious feeling that the one or two Rosie Supporters are on this one answer, with different nicks. defending her.. Or they have called their friends and asked them to use the same defence. it is weird but that is how I feel.. too many answers are carbon copies.. and too many thumbs up for Rosie,, this is not the norm here.. something false is going on, but what else is to be expected.

Interestingly enough, you go on and on about Rosie and Elisabeth, yet you spell Elisabeth, incorrectly. I remember the show where poor ole Elisabeth whined over people spelling her name wrong. I guess Rosie should come to her defense. I think Rosie and Elisabeth should have handled the matter more like adults. I also think Elisabeth, who knows Rosie supports the troops, should have said something. After all, Elisabeth claims she is Rosie's friend. I would defend my friends, if they were being accused of something that was not true. Regardless of their political views.

I don't think Rosie owes Elizabeth an apology. Elizabeth already had her feathers ruffled at Joy for talking about the Bush Admin. & Al Gore before Rosie said anything to her. Rosie just kind of added fuel to the fire so to speak, and then it was ON!
I think Elizabeth should apologize to Joy, Rosie & Shari too for getting her bloomers in a bunch. Through it all I think Rosie maintained her cool & didn't waver although you could tell her feelings were hurt by Elizabeth. It was all Elizabeth could do to stay seated & pointing her finger at Rosie. Elizabeth still never answered Rosie's simple question yes or no. Elizabeth put herself on the hot rock this time.
Rosie is going out with a bang & she knows it. Elizabeth keeps falling in the trap, sorry about her luck. Rosie is taking no prisoners this time, she's out of there!
I think if Elizabeth had an open mind her brain would fall out!

You missed the whole boat in regards to that argument. Rosie asked Elisabeth if she thought her comment meant the soldiers are terrorists. Rosie asked Elisabeth this because she believed Elisabeth was her FRIEND and would know better than to think such a stupid thing. Rosie got a rude awakening that Elisabeth is just her co-worker and could care less. Say what you want about Rosie O'Donnell but that woman does so much for others and has given a lot of money to many causes including the war veterans. Elisabeth doesn't do a darn thing but defend Bush like a puppet. I would take Rosie as a friend in a heartbeat. People like her will give you the shirt off their backs if you needed it. Elisabeth would walk right past you.

No, if Rosie apologizes she is assaulting on the First Amendment. Rosie has freedom of speech just like the next woman or man. So, why should she apologize to someone that want to deny her that right. It is okay not to agree with or support it or feel that she ought not to have said it on national TV due to misinterpretation, I personally feel that Rosie should not have said it. But regardless, her freedom of expression has to be respected still. If Elisabeth or anyone else does not like it then go to China!

When you host a show specifically entitled "The View" and you ask a cohost to answer a question with a simple yes or no and they refuse to do so, they have lost all credibility. It takes guts to answer any question about anything political with a yes or no answer. Therefore, Elisabeth was a coward. Anyone that is aware of the money that Rosie O'Donnell has contributed to disabled Veterans and the Intrepid Center for the horribly maimed ones has to know that she supports the troops. Her monetary contributions have helped Veterans far more than Elisabeth Hasselbeck's plagerized version of the Fox News channel. Sorry, but my son is a Paralyzed American Veteran and I know which one has helped him the most and her name would be Rosie O'Donnell.

Oh, leave Rosie alone! It is a talk show for Christ sake. If Glenn Beck or some other opinionated man were making the comments there would not be half this hoopla. And if Elizabeth cant take the heat , maybe she should also consider leaving the show.

It wasn't Elisabeth's opinion that Rosie was questioning, Rosie was looking to Elisabeth to back her up as not dissing the troops by calling them terrorists as had been reported. Elisabeth got this stubborn look on her face and wouldn't say that she understood that Rosie wasn't calling the troops terrorists, Rosie was hurt by that as she has always supported the troops and blamed the Administration.
Then Elisabeth said something about Donald Trump, and that she(Elisabeth) wasn't 'poor sweet Elisabeth' and that she could defend herself and Rosie ought to defend herself.
Twice Rosie said she didn't want to get into an argument and Elisabeth wouldn't let go and Rosie said 'she could say whatever Republican crap she wanted to for the rest of her time on the view'
I think Elisabeth owes Rosie and apology, I think she knows better than to think that Rosie equates terrorists and the troops. I think Elisabeth missed the ball here.

No, Elisabeth is a moron. I may not agree with everything Rosie says either, but Elisabeth was dead wrong and acted like the spoiled child that she is.
