As an American I wish nothing more than peace in Lebanon and Iraq. I am happy that the US Government helps the Lebanese Government. I pray that there is peace in Lebanon very soon!

Yes, it's okay as long as it's under the supervision of the Lebanese government.
I too am glad that the U.S. government is extending assistance to the Lebanese government - and I'm glad that the Lebanese army is doing its best to protect the Lebanese nation and the Lebanese people.
Any assistance to these ends is appreciated!

You may be sure that it is no gift ! I wonder if they get the same sort of terms & conditions as does Israel !
Like you , we all hope for peace in that part of the world ......it would be a nice gesture if the western governments were to maintain a permanent peace keeping force until such time as the issues facing the government of Lebanon are resolved.

Of course yes, the Lebanese army is the only one who can handle and protect his people. So he is a bit weak so when the U.S.A supports it, we all will be happy.

sure its ok the army needs those supplies plus the us don’t give anything 4 free in return the Lebanese army is indirectly helping the us by eliminating the terror in Lebanon so helping the us in its war on terror.

What do you mean is it ok? When a country is in need for help any aid is appreciated. Lebanon has always been the victim of terror, and i wish it would all come to an end. Not just in lebanon everywhere in the world

This is the first that I heard of this...Especially weird in the fact that the U.S. are major major backers of Israel.
That is where Israel get their money, ammunition, and equipment from.
I would be hard press to believe that the U.S. would supply any middle eastern country with any ammunition unless it was in the U.S.'s benefit.
