Capitalism in Government has taken the pride and creativity out of the labor force. Gutter press is just media at the lowest common denominator. They are giving people what they want to hear: scandal.

Margaret Thatcher is an idiot.

What do you think creates boundaries, institutes laws, reinforces morality and tradition? Society.
If you believe you are not affected by society DAILY then I can't help you.
The decline is capitalism dehumanizing workers who then turn to junkmedia for actualization denial.

i agree...although immorality has always been there, technology makes it far easier to detatch from moral situations...from footage posted on sites like utube to texting or answerphones, robotic responsive voices on the end of a telephone enquiry, etc...everything puts humanity at a distance now...people are not as connected as they once were...not so real to each other, so the slide into 'immoral' behaviour is easier as we are dehumanised by technology...its all kind of unreal to the wrong kind of people im afraid... some of us actively keep in touch with our senses and instincts though...and that ultimately is what makes us human...;0)

Too much emphasis placed on what you have(i.e money) rather on who you are(i.e personality). A society that values material instead of spiritual things is inevitably a corrupted one.

Margaret Thatcher...end of story.

The whole decline is social structure in the UK can be attributed to her validation of crass greed as being laudable.

This is a person who mourned Pinochet...a vile murderer.
