I have a '57 Chevy restored to original (almost). The car is Madador Red with a red/white interior. The code says it should be a silver/red interior. I love the red/white interior I have and it is exactly the same pattern/buttons as the silver/red. It needs to be replaced, but I can't find the red/white only can find the silver/red, which I do not want because I would also have to change the side panels. Does anyone know where I can get another set of the red/white seat covers?

Red/white was not a factory interior color for 1957, so if you currently have red /white it would have been custom made. The only "red" options for '57 were red vinyl/silver vinyl and red vinyl/black fabric, however '56 Bel Air converible's were available with red/ivory interiors and the seats are the same as the '57 assuming that you have a two door car, so you could go that route, however the pattern will be wrong and '56 seat covers only have one button instead of the two.

It's not unusual for interior colors to be changed over the years. I had a '55 Bel Air sedan a few years ago that had an interior that looked totally stock, but was done in a color combo that was never offered in '55.
