This sounds very much like impaction (when the digestive system clogs). This can be caused by feeding to large of prey or having a loose substrate such as sand. what you must do is give your bearded dragon a warm bath and hopes he poo's. If this does not work you must take him to the vet.
However, if your beared dragon is pooing regularly then it is most lickly not impaction.

Go to http://www.repticzone.com and to the bearded dragon forums.
It sounds like MBD (metabolic bone disease) OR impaction. You really need to go on repticzone and ask the question and explain the diet/set-up. Soak him in warm water and hope he poops! I hope he's not on a loose substrate and that you are dusting his food with calcium and have a UVB light.
I look forward to hearing from you on Repticzone! I really want to know if it turns out okay. My username is the same.

Could possibly be metabolic bone disease or an impaction. If your basking heat source has been 105F, and he has a good UVB on for 12 hours a day, and you've supplemented his crickets with Calcium/D3 regularly, then it is less likely to be MBD. What is his diet? Go to www. reptilerooms.com and click on 'forums' on the left. There are excellent care sheets and tons of health info.

sounds like metabolic bone disease, have you been dusting his crickets every other day with calcium and vitamins? does he have a uvb bulb, as well as a heat/uva bulb?
did you drop him or could have something in his cage fall onto him and break his back?
if yes to first two he probably dosent have metabolic bone disease, and if yes to the dropping thing then there is your answer
whatever you do dont take em to that vet, you will jsut be paying money for someone else to kill your pet, if it were mine id want to do it myself
