I've always said that.

I want to walk in pantless one day and be like, "Well ... the sign didn't tell me I needed pants."

pants are always optional. it's totally implied in the sign. if i ever open a business, my sign will say "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service! Pants Optional"

I say try it and see what happens man..you got a pretty good point... The sign does not reference pants!!

I thought only the Amish read those signs...and the rest of us know better than to walk in a store any other way:)

Good point. When I was in college, there was a sign outside our dining hall, "gentlemen must wear jackets and ties and ladies must wear heels and hose." My mind's eye always thought that would be quite a sight!
