I had these plants pop up in my flowerbed and in the grass nearby. They are bulbs, the ones I saw were about as big as a green onion. The leaves are skinny and long and look almost like grass. The flowers are white with 6 fairly skinny petals and a yellow center. They do not droop like bells, they are wide open like a childs picture of a flower. I live in Ohio and they just started blooming about a week or two ago. I've looked online and in books and can't quite figure out what they are. Any clue?

I forgot to mention that they are small. Probably on 6 inches high on the flowers are probably no bigger in diameter than a 50 cent piece.

Sounds like Stars of Bethlehem's but you can check for bulb sites and double check.
