I can't tell if you're American or British!
I think it depends on the person. They don't all hate us. Just like we don't all hate them. I love British people!
I also don't consider us more powerful. We may have morre resources though. And we are certainly no richer, we are in major debt right now from the war! It just seems like we are because we spend money so loosely.

I agree with all who answered your question especially Butt
and if it wasn't for the Russians , The British, and the French resistance we would not have won the war . The American men who sacrificed on Normandy and fought till the subsequent victory over the Nazis, deserve their legacy and our gratitude . However , It was almost mop up duty at that point . Russians lost millions of people .Brits were getting pounded for years . So why don't you knock that chip off your shoulder

I don't think the British hate the "Americans" even the brain dead ones loke your good self.There are probably more destitute people in the Us than any other developed country,a large proportion can't even afford to see a doctor. Unfortunately,your nearly correct about obesity,UK is the fattest nation in Europe now.
As for kicking our r's in war? are to talking about the war of independance,when the Frogs were your closest friends?

Not only the Brits hate Americans. Wake up and look around, the rest of the world does too. As long as you have that arrogant and self-center attitude, it won't be long America is the only place that Americans can go.

I don't know that the Brits hate us anymore than anybody else does. Mostly it is because Americans are arrogant, uncouth, boorish, discourteous and proud. A little sensitivity and humility would go a long way toward mending feelings.

Jealousy is one part of it. The rest is your absolute arrogance, your question being a perfect example, your terrible accents, you women with those huge protruding jaws, and too much make up, your loud voices, and crap cars. Oh yes, and lots of other things as well, but can't be bothered.
Edit:- Changed my mind here are some other things. You drive on parkways and park on driveways, huh? You have interstate highways on Hawaii, hopefully that will drown a few of your more simple fellow Americans whilst they are trying to drive from Hawaii to another state. And re your comment about wars, you are so arrogant that you really believed no nation would dare to attack you on your own soil, so you sat and watched the Japs bomb the hell out of Pearl Harbour, whilst you stood and watched because everyone said it was it couldn't be happening.
