2012 is going to be a great year. There is a total eclipse of the Sun in November that will be seen from Darwin to Cairns in northern Australia. This one will last about 4.5 minutes. The last Australian total eclipse in Ceduna lasted only 31 seconds. Even so, it was worth driving 3000km each way to see it. Book your trip for the eclipse now.

I agree. It's really stupid. The world is not going to end anytime soon. People have said that the world is going to end for centuries, and it hasn't happened. Nobody knows when it will end. In 2012, life will go on as normal.

well in the astronmy catagory yes but I think there is a catagory about religen somewhere where the queston would make more sence. Just to point it out your queston has 2012 in it.
