Hard to pick one, I think about 1 year wonders and it's a tough choice
2006 Steelers had Joey Porter, Troy Polamalu, James Farrior and of the best offensive lines with Alan Faneca, Jeff Hartings and Marvel Smith
2002 Bucs was pretty good too: Derrick Brooks, Ronde Barber, John Lynch, Warren Sapp and Simeon Rice. They stopped a Raiders team that had Rice, Tim Brown, a primed Rich Gannon, Rod Woodson, Charles Woodson and Bill Romanowski
2000 Ravens, great defense and one of the best D-lines ever. Tony Siragusa, Michael McCrary, Sam Adams and Rob Burnettl; the linebackers were not bad: Ray Lewis, Adalius Thomas and Peter Boulware; finally they had Chris McAllister and Rod Woodson. Offensively they had Jamal Lewis (one of 5 RB to top 2000 yards) and Priest Holmes, both primed and in the same team. Shannon Sharpe was still solid at TE.
I think the worst was the 1990 Giants. They had worse receivers than Tom Brady last season and no 1000 yd running backs. Defensive stars were Lawrence Taylor (best ever), Dave Duerson and Everson Walls, but their best days were behind them. They won the SB with backup Jeff Hostetler.
Those Giants became champions thanks to "Wide right" Scott Norwood.

the 1968 New York Jets.
They were the 3rd best team in the AFL behind Oakland and Kansas City. They were the only team inthier division with a winning record. After they beat Baltimore 16-7 in Super Bowl III they lost thier only playoff game in 1969 and then not only missed the playoffs for the next 12 years but did not even break .500, and did not win another playoff game until 1982
Dude I am a Bills fan and they were not robbed. They should have beat the Giants, They never lead agaisnt the Redskins, and they flat out got run by Dallas the first time even though they were up 7-0, and as for the 4th game the had the lead in the 3rd quarter against Dallas and when Thomas fumbled and James Washington ran it back for 6 they flat out gave up. I say this as a Bills fan for close to 30 years.

06 Steelers.
the 02 Bucs DOMINATED every team they played, so to even suggest they were the worst team of all 41 super bowl winning teams, you're insane. And what they do after that year has nothing to do with that team.
The Steelers won because they had the zebras on their side. The Seahawks were clearly the better team, and if the refs couldve kept the flags in their pockets on a few key plays when a penalty really never occured, they would have won.

Wow lots of good opinions in here on this topic. The Steelers and Bucs were painful to watch, no arguements here. I think the Washington team from the strike shortened 1987 team that played against the equally boring to watch Broncos with the Three Amigos. Who had a RB in Timmy Smith who had a GAME of his life and then fell off the planet.
So yeah I will take the 1987 Washington Redskins

The Steelers a couple of years ago. That was a very average team that had no business winning a Super Bowl. Very lucky team that got a lot of benefit from the refs. Sorry Pitt fans, it's the truth.

All Four of Buffalo Bills Super Bowls Losses, the First One the Giants Got lucky otherwise the Bills got them If it weren't for the Field Goal Miss the end of Super Bowl XXV, the Second one the Redskins got lucky because of Mark Rypien just bad of QB as Rex Grossman is today, but they won Super Bowl XXVI, and the Last two the Cowboys Blew Bills Out by more Mediocre Talent like Emmitt Smith and Troy Aikman.
You see the Bills we're Robbed all Four Time they we're in the Super Bowl.

I would agree with the 06 Steelers. They weren't the worst team, but they had the worst record out of all the playoff condenders and had to win three road games to get to the playoffs. The 06 Steelers were the first team to ever win it all when making it to the playoffs as the last wild card team.

2007 Giants. 2011 Giants. They both sucked. Neither had ANY business winning it all. The 2011 team shouldn't have even made the playoffs.

Dude...the NFC West champ has a dropping checklist. The Saints have been 13-3. that they had 6 "elementary" wins against the branch. They nevertheless had to pass 7-3 against something of their schedule.

06 steelers only 2 reasons why they won. Mike Vanderjact sucks. And the refs and the super bowl sucked.
