forgetting the technical error, Using fruit acids in a hot tub is really god. You'll reach the desired PH, And also it provides natural aromatherapy.

Only if you want to smell like a giant salad. Use the proper chemicals for this or you may be buying a new tub.

like the other answers , what about the smell. I am sure that it would bring the ph down but there are better products, don't you agree?

Technically yes, it would lower the acidity of the water. But there is probably a less harmful (and less smelly) chemical. You should check at a pool supply store.

i used "ph down" when i was in pool service, it's the best way to go.
