Both. Isn't the fun found in knowing you have given insight to a person who did not know something? To provide a person with an answer that helped the individual in some fashion? Isn't the fun also found in receiving points for your efforts? Getting the cool swag Yahoo Answers gives out to Level 3 Contributors and up? Aren't my answers more questions than answers to your questions?!?

To give myself something to do. The points don't really mean anything, so it's a win win situation. You get an answer, I get the satisfaction of knowing I did something with my day.

some questions i answer for a laugh....there are some funny ones on here....some i answer to help others and put my opinion forward...others i answer just for the points....either way it helps pass the time....
