I love roast beef on a hoagie bun with mustard, mayo, mozzarella cheese and onions. Cook it for about a half hour in tinfoil in the oven. MMMMM. I bet your husband would like that.

In reality the one I have in my hand at the time. If I have a choice, a cold roasted chicken (not the processed packaged chicken) sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and mayo.

A more serious answer is a panelle sandwich, which is italian and comprised of a flat, made from a fried, greasy & battered chick pea/slice in a soft bun, with added ricotta cheese on top -- and potato croquettes... it's awesome.

My such a lot fave sandwich is at Subway....the Italian BMT. I adore it with: wheat bread, salami, pepperoni and ham; additionally, mustard (constant), lettuce, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, olives, dill pickles, American cheese, salt and Parmesan cheese (and probably different materials) I adore it with chips, a delicate drink, water and three cookies (ideally chocolate chip).

I love taking sourdough bread, add ham, pepperjack cheese, salt, pepper, oregano, basil...then on the outside of the bread, spread a mixture of butter, garlic, and minced jalepenos....grill on both sides until crisp....mmmmmm so good!!!
