I think that would be a great pay per view game, Colts Offense Vs. NFC Pro-Bowl team.

N.O. can do it

Actually, yea. Quite a few actually.

The Colts never had the same running attack after losing James and it'll be even weaker now that Addai's in the backfield alone to fend for himself.

True, the have the best QB and the best WR combo in the game right now and an excellent TE in Dallas Clark. But that makes their offense 1 dimensional.

Give Peyton a taste of these defenses, let's see how he does.

Chicago- with Lance Briggs and Tank Johnson in place would manhandle them this year. However, Briggs is only gonna play 6 games and Johnson should get suspended for at least 4 games. But they could probably still give them a run for their money.

San Diego- A really underated defense because their offense overshadows them. However their defense is every bit as talented as their offense and on most days would shut the Colts down.

Miami- Last year's defensive MVP + Joey Portey= long day for Indy.

Denver- One of the better defenses last year. However they where weighed down by a weak defensive line witch they've more than fixxed over the offseason. Not to mention, the best secondary in the league with Champ Bailey, Dre Bly and John Lynch back there. For that reason, I give them the best shot at the Colts.

Baltimore- Best defence in the league and if I recall, I don't believe Indy could manage a touchdown against them in the playoffs.

It is funny how so many people think that putting the best at each position from a bunch of different teams means that you have the best team.

Do you think that either of the Pro Bowl teams...in any year for that matter...could beat the Super Bowl champion?

You cannot put a bunch great atheletes together for the first time and expect them to click as if they were team members.

As for the Colts offense...the Colts had a great day, and the Bears did not. I would say that healthy, the Colts would win 2 our of 3 or 3 out of 5, but not all of the games. Both teams healthy were more evenly matched than the actual SuperBowl would lead people to believe.

Yes. Buffalo did it last season. The Colts won 17-16 but the Bills were one of four teams to hold the Colts to 17 or fewer points. The others were: Tennesee (twice) Dallas and Jacksonville. Although your proposal would be cool to see however.

Week 11 last year. Dallas beat the Colts and shut Indys offense down. They forced 4 turnovers one of the interceptions was returned for a touchdown.

So yes they can be stopped.

Buffalo's? 17-16, a game you guys won by a missed field goal;)
If only our offense had hit its stride a few games before! But, oh well.
Edit: The Bears? You mean the same defense Peyton beat up in the Super Bowl? We all saw how that worked out, sorry...

professional Bowl communities regularly are not as sturdy as a useful crew contained in the known season. the professional bowl and different all-superstar video games are in basic terms a exhibit of skills and are designed in basic terms for leisure. A crew it truly is educated and performed mutually for weeks like the Patriots might want to extremely beat any professional bowl crew which will have the skills yet lacks crew chemistry like the Pats. And the NFC in basic terms isn't that sturdy participant-smart, a minimum of no more advantageous helpful than the Patriots in key positions.

Maybe the defenses of all the teams that beat them last year. Anyway, the Saints offense will be better than the Colts next year.

Well the Colts have a great offense, but their defense can sometimes be porous, and they lost a few guys.
