I mean, where is the nutrional value of that? Subway use to have the wheat tortillas which were high in fiber, but because the white flour tortillas were cheaper, they switch to that. If it's a matter of cost, why don't they just charge more. I would pay more to eat wheat, wouldn't you? Maybe we should ask Jared what he thinks?

I don't think Subway is committed to health at all. They just lucked out in that their regular menu items are low-fat. They aren't low cal, they aren't high fiber, and they aren't especially nutritous.

They exploited the image of being healthy though. Notice how their slogan is "eat fresh", not "eat healthy."

It's so much easier to take a slice of iceberg for a hamburger, though. But if you're going to make a good salad and have an actual cutting board, romaine is best. The theological debate has been at a standstill from there since Thomas Aquinas discussed in great detail "the virtues of lettuces that God hath given onto us, and their necessary qualities.", circa 1250.He later attempted to determine a priori which lettuce God would prefer, but even the great theologian came to a standstill.

I don't get the wraps at Subway so I never noticed. I think they should still have the wheat though. I don't really mind iceberg lettuce though I prefer spinach or Romaine lettuce.

I always ask for baby spinach on my wraps or sandwiches instead of that iceburg crap. I am not sure if that is an option where you live... if it is give it a try.

As far as the wraps I beleive the ones in CT still have wheat.
