In a monarchy (crude examples: Saudi Arabia, N. Korea, China, Cuba - though 'techicnally' they may come under different names, it's basically the same thing ) where the fundamental Rights of men & women r not recognized. Fundmental Rights (eg. Rights granted to u by ur creator. )
In these examples of hell on earth, U have no Right to speech, self-defense, to Vote (or maybe only to Vote for a different family member of the same ruling class), to Travel ("show me ur papers"), to contract. Similiar to a socialist country, of which America is fastly becoming (if not already), where govt officals veiw men / women as slaves, 'cuz they believe their people r to stupid to handle freedom. Look at Canada or Sweden - they take 1/2 ur property and also tell u what u can or cannot do. In these examples, as w/ the examples further above, ur Rights are granted to u by Govt, thus u must beg for permission to live - and since these Govt's granted u Rights, they can take away those Rights at anytime. Similar to civil Rights v. Fundamental Rights. In America (a constitutional republic for the 50 union states - and a democracy for the district of columbia and all it's federal territories) Federal Citizens have 'civil Rights'. These Rights were granted to them by Congress -and can be taken away at any time by "it's creator". Whereas state Citizens have 'Fundamental Rights'. These Rights were given to u by birth in America by ur creator, and as such, only 'ur creator' can take them away.
Hope this helps -
