A is the correct answer.

The balanced equation is:

2 H2O --> 2 H2 + O2

Therefore 1 mole H2O would produce 1 mole H2 and 1/2 mole O2.

At STP one mole of a gas occupies 22.4 L.
22.4 L/mol x 1 mol H2 = 22.4 L H2
22.4 L/mol x 1/2 mol O2 = 11.2 L O2

B is right option.both will be changed into Gases,1 mole of each....so we will express in volume not in grams as in option D.
