I want to calculate how many days it will take me to get to level five.
Right now I will have 3,141 because I asked a question. I can answer and get 160 points a day.
Can you calculate how many days it will take? I am lazy.

You need 5000 points
5000 - 3141 = 1859 points left till level 5
1859 / 160 = 12 days
So it would take about 12 days if you managed to keep up your 120 points per day. Maybe you will be too lazy tho!

Hmmmm.... I thought the purpose of this site was to help people with questions. So the idea is just to make points. Well, I've seen people just answer, "Got me." or "I don't know," or just "Hi." If all you're in for is the points, 500 or 600 points a day seems a very possible goal.
In answer to your question.
Subtract 3141 (the points you have now) from however many points you need for whatever level you want. That's the number of points you need to make. Divide that number by however many questions you can answer in a day. That'll give you the number of days it'll take you at that rate to reach your goal.
Example: Say you need 50,000 for a level, sorry don't know levels... and don't care.
You say you already have 3141. Subtract 3141 from 50000. That gives you 46859 points you need. If you get 160 points a day, divide 46859 by 160. Some time in your 293rd day, you'll reach your goal.
